Our Commitment to Digital Accessibility

Key-Tec BV is committed to making its website and webshop (www.key-tec.be) accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. Non-compliance with accessibility requirements

Images: Some product images and decorative images may not yet have fully descriptive alternative text (alt text). This does not comply with WCAG 2.1 Success Criterion 1.1.1 (Non-text Content).
Contrast: On certain pages, the color contrast between text and background may be insufficient. This does not comply with WCAG 2.1 Success Criterion 1.4.3 (Contrast Minimum).
Forms: Some form fields may not have clearly visible labels or error messages. This does not comply with WCAG 2.1 Success Criteria 1.3.1 (Info and Relationships) and 3.3.2 (Labels or Instructions).
PDF Documents: Older PDF documents (such as technical specifications) may not be fully accessible to screen readers.

Disproportionate Burden

Historical Product Catalogs: Converting the full archive of historical product documentation into fully accessible formats would currently constitute a disproportionate burden. Alternative formats are provided upon request.

Content Outside the Scope

Third-Party Content: Embedded content from external parties (such as maps, third-party videos, or external widgets) is outside our direct control and may not meet accessibility standards.
Live Streaming: Any live-streamed content falls outside the scope of current legislation.

Accessibility Support Measures

Key-Tec takes the following measures to ensure accessibility:

Technical Standards: Our website is built on Shopware 6, which includes built-in accessibility features in line with WCAG guidelines.
Semantic HTML: We use correct, semantic HTML structure with logical heading hierarchy, accessible lists, and tables.
Keyboard Navigation: All website functionality is accessible via keyboard.
Screen Readers: The website is designed to be compatible with commonly used screen readers (such as NVDA, JAWS, and VoiceOver).
