The Maeda MC285C-3 is a spider crane that lifts 2.820 kg at a working radius of 1,4 m and still holds 150 kg on the hook at its maximum radius of 8,205 m. With a track undercarriage just 750 mm wide it drives through a standard doorway and then extends its outriggers to 4.782 mm. The fully automatic five-section boom and the radio remote control make it usable in places no other crane can reach.

Compact spider crane with a long reach
The Maeda MC285C-3 is a compact spider crane for lifting work in tight and hard-to-reach locations. It lifts 2.820 kg at a working radius of 1,4 m and still holds 150 kg on the hook at its maximum radius of 8,205 m. The five-section, fully automatic telescopic boom runs from 2,535 to 8,575 m and covers its full stroke of 6,04 m in 22 seconds; the boom moves from 0 to 80° in 14 seconds. The hoisting speed is 9,3 m/min with a ø7 mm cable of 48 m.
With a track width of 750 mm the machine drives through a standard doorway and fits into a lift. On site it extends its outriggers to 4.782 mm laterally, 4.718 mm at the front and 3.990 mm at the rear, with intermediate positions from 3.232, 2.498 and 2.180 mm so it can also set up against a wall or in a corner. Below ground level it reaches 10,1 m deep in four-fall reeving, and up to 100 m with the optional 900 kg auxiliary winch, which makes the machine suitable for shafts, cellars and pits. An 850 kg searcher hook, a single-fall hook and white rubber tracks for work on finished floors are also available.
