Technical Advisor Attachments
Are you technically minded and do you get energy from advising customers?
In our Attachments department you help domestic and European customers find the right accessories for excavators, telehandlers and other rolling stock — from buckets and forks to hydraulic breakers and lifting beams.
You guide customers through the entire sales process: from technical advice and answering questions to ordering and delivery follow-up.
We’re looking for someone who isn’t only technically strong, but who also wants to help build our service and expertise within attachments.

Your role?
At the same time you ensure every step is processed correctly in our ERP system and you also help keep internal management on track: from warehouse to logistics follow-up and adding new products and technical info in the ERP and on the website. This way you gradually grow into a technical expert and specialist in attachments, reporting directly to the Manager of the Attachments department.
Your technical responsibilities
- Guiding and advising customers so they can make the right purchase decision for their specific applications. This requires providing specific technical advice with sound expertise.
- Continuously building knowledge of new products on the market and of new offerings from suppliers.
- Gathering feedback from customers in order to use these experiences to improve.
- Holding regular structural consultations with the workshop to gain practical experience and thus advise customers even better.
Your administrative responsibilities
- Daily follow-up of website orders, mailbox (customer questions) and handling of any complaints.
- Administrative processing of the sales process, including drafting order forms.
- Website management: input of technical descriptions of new products and follow-up.
- Contact with regular suppliers of attachments for the supply of minimum stock in the warehouse.
- Follow-up of the logistics chain at delivery and reception, and resolving transport or delivery issues.
- Warehouse management of attachments in cooperation with the warehouse manager.
Who you are?
We’re looking for someone with technical strength, a customer-focused attitude and a sense of structure. Sound like you?
- You hold a bachelor’s degree in a technical field, preferably (electro-)mechanics, or you are equivalent through relevant work experience.
- You’re driven to continuously develop yourself technically to stay up to date with customer needs.
- You have good communication skills to answer customer questions. Excellent knowledge of Dutch and English is a minimum requirement; other languages (e.g. French) are added value (given the European customer base).
- You’re administratively and organisationally strong: in a structured way you can safeguard the process through the efficient and consistent use of various systems.
- With your proactive and flexible attitude you do everything possible to guarantee maximum customer satisfaction.
- Experience is a plus but not a requirement.
- You’re a team player.
